Dear Devotees and dear Friends,
please accept our dandavats pranams and
receive heartly blessings from Srila Gurudeva. All glories to Sri Guru
and Sri Gauranga and all glories to Sri Sri Radha Vinode Bihariji.
Today, Sri Krsna Navami Tithi, the 29th of December, on the most
auspicious day of the appearance of nitylila pravista om vishnupada Sri
Srimad Bhaktivedanta Vaman Gosvami Maharaja, our most beloved Gurudeva,
Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayan Gosvami Maharaja has entered the
eternal pastimes of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna at 03.00 AM in Sri Jagannath
Ksetra Dham, the transcendental residence of Sri Jagannath Deva, Sri
Baladeva and Srimati Subhadra.
We are making arrangements to bring Srila Gurudeva’s transcendental
body to Sri Navadvip Dham and place it in Samadhi.

Dandavats and Pranams to all of the
Vaishnavas out there,
I arrived last
night about 11:30 PM about an hour after they arrived from Jagannatha
Puri with Srila Gurudeva. The car left at 7AM from Puri with Srila
Gurudeva sitting in the lotus position on the back seat. When I arrived
I settled in then I went to see Srila Gurudeva who was laying on ice in
His bed in the main temple room. He looked effulgent and bright. His
face serene. His body was completely pure and untouched by the material
nature. He was effulgent with spiritual beauty. His limbs had not become
stiff with Riga-mortise, his hands and feet were natural without
swelling, there was no ganged green or bad smell, there was no draining
of blood from the veins, he was completely free of any influence of
material nature. His body was completely spiritual only our eyes saw
anything material. This was exactly like Srila Prabhupada when he left.
The same exact symptoms of a pure spiritual body were completely
manifest in Him as they were in Srila Prabhupada when he left.
I must admit I cried when I first saw
him as it finally hit me that his manifest presence is now only internal
and not external any longer. There were hundreds of devotees from Bengal
and the world filing past his bed for a last darshan. The next morning
Srila Gurudeva was placed in a palanquin and taken on a parikrama to
Devananda Gaudiya Matha. There he took Darshan of Srila Bhakti Prajnana
Kesahava Maharaja and Srila BV Vaman Maharaja. Then all of the residents
of the matha headed by Acharya Parayatak Maharaja did aratik to Srila
Gurudeva. After the aratika we then returned to Keshavji Gaudiya Matha
via the road along the Ganges. Once Srila Gurudeva arrived at the temple
his clothes were mostly removed and a bathing ceremony took place in the
temple room where many devotees got a chance to bathe the transcendental
form of Srila Gurudeva. His Divine Transcendental form was then taken to
the samadhi where the final aratika and other ceremonies were performed
and the devotees offered there flower puspanjali and then the salt and
then the earth to cover Srila Gurudeva. Many devotees were crying,
looking forlorn and bereft of any happiness. There was much grief and
unhappiness at the prospect of spending the rest of our lives without
Srila Gurudeva. It is something that I am sure devotees all over the
world are experiencing.
For some that unhappiness was
compounded by the fact that they could not be present iin Navadwipa for
the last darshan. I wanted to do what ever I could to relieve that pain.
So I got a big bag of flowers and began offering them one by one to
Srila Gurudeva and declaring the name of the devotee to Srila Gurudeva
on whose behalf I was making the offering since they could not be
present. I spent quite a log time doing this. I cannot reprise the
entire list to you however I will give you a list of the locations of
the devotees by city or country on whose behalf I offered flowers. This
will appear in any particular order below except the way it comes to my
memory.
The devotees in Sicily, Sardinia, Rome,
Germany, England, Holland, France, Russia, China, Hong Kong, Los
Angeles, Houston, Bay Area, Alachua, Miami, New York, Brazil, Mexico,
South America, and in the name of all the sannyasis who could not attend
and then to just anyone and everyone who I did not know but could not
attend. Please forgive me for any omissions I did the best I could.
Srila Gurudeva is present in his
instructions and in his books as I was remembering both of these today I
was feeling his presence very strongly. Please read the article

this will help you to understand how
to feel the presence of the sadhu in separation. Tomorrow is Ekadasi and
Saturday we are having a festival of remembrances here in Navadwipa. So
please hold your own festival in your own place and see how powerfully

SRILA NARAYAN MAHARJA'S CEREMONIA DE

Yo llegué anoche como a las 11 pm, una hora después de que llegaron
de Jagannath Puri con Srila Gurudeva. El auto salió de Puri a las 7 am
con Srila Gurudeva sentado en posición de loto en el asiento trasero.
Cuando llegue y después de establecerme, fui a ver a Srila Gurudeva
quien estaba acostado sobre hielo en Su cama en el salón del templo. Él
se veía refulgente y brillante, Su cara estaba serena. Su cuerpo
completamente puro y sin estar tocado por la naturaleza material. Él
brillaba con belleza espiritual. Sus miembros no estaban rígidos con el
rigor mortis, Sus pies y manos estaban naturales sin ninguna hinchazón,
no había gangrena verde o malos olores, no había vacío de sangre de las
venas, él estaba completamente libre de la influencia de la naturaleza
material. Su cuerpo es completamente espiritual y sólo nuestros ojos ven
algo material. Era exactamente como Srila Prabhupada cuando se marchó.
Los mismos síntomas del cuerpo puro espiritual estaban completamente
manifestados en Él como lo fueron en Srila Prabhupada cuando se marchó.
Debo admitir que Yo lloré cuando lo vi y realicé que su presencia se
manifestaba ahora internamente y no externamente. Había cientos de
devotos de Bengal y del mundo caminado frente a la cama por un último
darshan. A la siguiente mañana Srila Gurudeva fue colocado en un
palanquín y llevado en parikrama al Devananda Gaudiya Matha. Allí tomó
darshan de Srila Bhakti Prajnana Kesava Gosvami Maharaja y de Srila Bv
Vamana Maharaja. Después todos los residentes del Math dirijidos por
Acarya Parayatak Maharaja hicieron aratika a Srila Gurudeva. Después del
aratika regresamos al Sri Kesavaji Gaudiya Matha por el camino a orillas
del Ganges. Una vez que Srila Gurudeva llegó al templo, todas sus ropas
fueron removidas y se llevó a cabo una ceremonia de baño en el salón del
templo, en donde todos los devotos tuvieron la oportunidad de bañar la
forma trascendental de Srila Gurudeva. Después Su Divina forma
Trascendental fue llevada al samadhi, en donde el aratika y otras
ceremonias finales fueron llevadas a cabo y los devotos ofrecieron
flores, puspanjali, luego sal y la tierra para cubrir a Srila Gurudeva.
Muchos devotos lloraban, se veían perdidos e infelices. Había mucha
tristeza e infelicidad ante el prospecto de pasar el resto de nuestras
vidas sin Srila Gurudeva. Esto es algo que estoy seguro todos los
devotos en el mundo están experimentando.
Para algunos esa infelicidad se debía también el hecho de no poder
estar presentes en Navadvipa para un último darshan. Yo quería hacer lo
que pudiera para aliviar ese dolor. Así que conseguí una gran bolsa de
flores y comencé a ofrecérselas a Srila Gurudeva una a una, en nombre de
los devotos que no habían podido estar presente, pasé bastante tiempo
haciendo esto. No les puedo dar la lista completa de los nombres, pero
si de las ciudades o países de los devotos en cuyos nombres hice la
ofrenda de flores. El orden en que los nombró es el orden en que llegan
a mi memoria.
Los devotos en Sicilia, Sardinia, Roma, Alemania, Inglaterra,
Holanda, Francia, Rusia, China, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Houston, Bay
Area, Alachua, Miami, New York, Brazil, Mexico, South America, y en
nombre de todos los sannyasis que no pudieron estar presentes y luego en
nombre de todos aquellos que no conocía y que no pudieron asistir. Por
favor perdonen cualquier omisión, hice lo mejor que pude.
Srila Gurudeva está presente en sus instrucciones y en sus libros,
cuando recordaba eso hot, sentí fuertemente su presencia. Por favor lean
